Gainer
has worked with colorful athletes ranging from NBA bad boy,
Dennis Rodman, feisty tennis star
Jimmy Conners, controversial Olympic
figure skater, Nicole Bobek to
the more gentile like Arnold Palmer
and Bjorn Borg. She applied her
marketing and licensing prowess to the designer house of Bidermann
that included the likes of Calvin Klein,
Ralph Lauren, Yves
St. Laurent and Daniel Hechter
in America as well as Nicole Miller.
Supermodels like Valeria Mazza
and soap stars like Susan Lucci
have been involved with projects of Gainers. Romance supermodels
sprung from Gainers marketing savvy including Fabio,
who went from being an unknown to a household name earning millions.
Also, there is Cindy Guyer, Queen
of Romance who Gainer orchestrated a collectible doll, Playboy
spread and website for. A 2001 calendar was licensed by Gainer
to the worlds largest calendar company for former Playboy
Playmate of the Year and Miss Sweden, Victoria
Silvstedt. Gainer also organized sponsorships for the
Latin Look of the Millennium
model contest in Mexico City.
Major
global events and telecasts have been produced by Gainer including
ones staged at The White House,
The Kremlin and The
Sydney Opera House. She has creatively cross-marketed
major sports events and leagues with fashion and entertainment
at venues like the National Tennis Center/U.S.
Open, Shea Stadium and Olympic
Stadium in Moscow. A career highlight for Gainer was
Australias Bicentennial Fashion Celebration
which was the largest fashion event ever staged in world history
and was a global telecast featuring designers from each fashion
capital including Donna Karan, Gianni Versace, and Claude Montana
among others. She has produced and directed fashion advertising
campaigns in locations on most continents ranging from Alaska,
Australia and Africa to Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Russia.
Additionally, Gainer has worked on projects for E!
Entertainment, HBO and CNN. More recently, she was involved
with a live fashion telecast from the Cannes
Film Festival in France for QVC
as well as the largest annual fashion show in South America.
For
the millennium, Gainer is writing a branding
book. Post Sept. 11 Gainer directed her attention to
the hard hit hospitality industry, developing promotional events
for hotels in Miami to attract revenue streams from local customers.
She has done programs for Wyndham Hotels
& Resorts, Island Outpost
and South Beach Group. She has
also marketed and licensed a San Francisco based event property
celebrating its 20th Anniversary with the release of a book
(co-authored by her released in 2000), video, CD, TV documentary,
motion picture in development and membership driven website
with e commerce and cybercasts. She also worked on rolling the
event out globally and produced a millennium New Years event.
Prior to this, Gainer consulted in LA for movie studio, MGM
on branding efforts for their corporate and movie properties
and Elite Model Agency licensing
programs. Previously, Gainer had been on the team that successfully
relaunched jeans brand, Sasson
from bankruptcy to over $300 million in just 3 years through
a global licensing program. Additionally, she launched a new
retail chain for The Limited. Gainer
also executed nationwide marketing programs for American
Express for both their hotel and restaurant divisions.
Currently,
Gainer is exploring the exploding real
estate market in South Florida
as well as Hispanic marketing activities.
Additionally, she is developing alliances with the various Consulates
that exist in the global community of South Florida. Gainer
is providing her marketing expertise to international companies
and brands planning to expand to the American market and Miami
as the gateway to Latin America.
Gainer
began her career at Colgate-Palmolive
where she honed her classical marketing skills branding everything
from toothpaste and detergent to athletes and events. She is
a graduate of Cornell University, a Glamour
Magazine Top 10 College Winner and Barons
2000 Global Achiever for the 21st Century. Today, Gainer
is a world traveler with bases in New
York, Los Angeles and Miami.
